Transport for London and Uber are expected to hold more talks as the ride-hailing firm tries to get its license back in order to operate in the capital.
According to the Evening Standard, Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber’s CEO, flew to London for an emergency meeting with TfL commissioner Mike brown.
It is believed that the meeting was “constructive” and more talks are expected to take place in the coming weeks.
TfL refused to renew the firm's licence last month on the grounds of "public safety and security implications".
Uber has said it will appeal against the decision. It can continue to operate during that process.
