Vehicles will meet Euro 5 emissions standards.
Stagecoach Group have confirmed £50 million worth of orders for 338 buses and coaches, which will meet Euro 5 emissions standards introduced last year.
The latest orders will go into operation on Stagecoach’s provincial bus routes across the UK, further improving the standard of travel for passengers in Scotland, England and Wales.
The new buses and coaches will be introduced throughout 2010-11.
A total of 163 double-deckers, 70 single-deckers, 79 midi-buses, 17 coaches and 9 mini-buses will be supplied by vehicle manufacturers Alexander Dennis, Scania, Plaxton, Optare and Volvo.
